Diablo 3 Released!

This long waited game has finally been released. The midnight release on the 15th of March, 2012, of Diablo 3 promoted celebrations to gamers worldwide.

Besides this, a group of more than 1500 gamers gathered near the headquarters of Blizzard Entertainment, to celebrate and geek out. This gathering also included people drawing sketches of characters, among other activities.

For those of you who are not familiar with this game, it is basically  a dark fantasy/horror-themed action role-playing game by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the third release of the Diablo franchise (last was up to 12 years ago) This game, features elements of the hack and slash and dungeon crawl genres.

It was released in North America, Latin America and Europe on May 15, 2012, and is scheduled to be released in Russia on June 7, 2012.
A very interesting fact that shows the excitement of its release is that before it was actually released, the game broke several pre-sale records and became the most pre-ordered PC game of all time on Amazon.com.
